Over 100 SHS students benefit from Bosomtwe MP’s Free Vacation Classes

Deputy Minister for Education Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe Constituency, has organized a free vacation classes for Senior High School (SHS) students as part of efforts to adequately prepare students towards the next academic year.




Speaking in a brief interview with myashhfmonline.com, the Ashanti Regional Organizer for the ruling New Patriotic Party Dr. Francis Adomako who coordinated this classes stated that, the classes is been held in two separate constituencies namely Bosometwe Constituency and Manhyia South.


The hard-working Organizer, Dr. Francis Adomako was however optimism that the move could go a long way to sharpen continuing SHS students for the next academic year and also equally prepares candidates who are going to write for the West African Senior High School Exams.

“Education is the key to success, therefore, it must not be compromised by any other thing,” Dr Adomako said.


Dr .Adomako as part of making the classes a successful together with Professor Jonathan Annan donated Mathematics Text Books to help boost teaching and learning during the weeks period.


He advised parents and guardians, whose children are in the constituency, to allow their wards to take advantage of the sponsorship to prepare them better when school resumes in September.


He also heaped praises on the teachers who leave their busy schedules to teach the students.


On his part the District Chief Executive for Bosomtwe , Lawyer Joseph Asuming charged parents to take the education of their wards seriously, by contributing their quota in ensuring that their wards become responsible citizens.


He further advised the students to disengage themselves from social media, sexual immorality and telenovelas, as these would impede the progress of their studies.


He was thankful to the Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum who is also the MP for the area and Dr. Francis Adomako for funding the free vacation classes, and providing the students with text books.


Meanwhile, the classes is however noted to cost a huge amount including allowance for teachers and the procurement of the text books among other and learning materials for the students.
