A/R MoMo@10: MTN put a smile in the face of its loyal customers

A Telecommunication giant MTN-Ghana has put a smile in the face of its loyal customers in Ashanti Region last Thursday, October 3, 2019. MTN Mobile Money is celebrating its tenth anniversary. As part of the celebration, the telco is running a promotion to reward MoMo customers.

The MoMo@10 Consumer award is designed to reward MTN MOMO customers who use their MoMo wallets to perform their various financial transactions.

Customers earn the most points when they make payments to MTN MoMo merchants for their goods and services via MoMoPay.

Speaking at a well-organized mobile money event at the Kejetia refurbished Office of MTN, The Northern Business District General Manager of MTN; Nii Adotey Mingle disclosed that, MTN do not levy its customers when they receive awards.

Mr. Adotey Mingle emphasized that, MTN does not attach any rates to any prizes or awards they give out to their loyal customers.

‘’We at MTN do not make demands from on our customers when they win awards or prizes, again when they participate in our numerous promotional events and draws.

This is the main reason we only call winners with a dedicated line, 0244-300-000 and it is to ensure that winners redeem their prizes without any sweat’’, Mr. Mingle asserted .


Rosaline Teye and Adam Abdullai took home electronic cash of GHC 2,000 cedis each.

Driving home with three i10 Hyundai cars were Jones Dwomoh, Alhaji Abdullai and Hafiz Nuhu. Others, Madam Vivian Sarfo, a businesswoman demonstrate her gladness as she took home a 49-inch flat-screen television set.

Speaking to the media after the event, Hafiz Nuhu, one of the Hyundai i10 car winners expressed satisfaction at his prize and commended MTN for elevating his life.
